How Justin Bieber’s Faith Saved his Career

Justin Bieber's fame and fortune came to a halt when he started making headlines for his bad behavior.   He was arrested for driving under the influence, criminal mischief, and reckless driving in 2014. His career recovered after he found God. He’s now happily married to his wife Hailey Baldwin-Bieber. Justin gives the glory back to God in all of his success today as a renewed man. Bieber began his music career at the age of 13. His mom uploaded a video of him on Youtube so he can sing for his relatives. But little did he know that it would get millions of views. This led Usher to discover the talented young boy. He went on to rise to fame with his hit singles "Baby," "Boyfriend," and "Never Say Never." He was featured in TV, magazines, and billboards worldwide.   Bieber was the fastest rising star of his time. But there was a downside to all that... People used him as a tool to earn money. There was too much exposure and he was manipulated. "That time, I was just growing up and figuring myself out. I just happened to be growing in the spotlight in front of everyone. I was innocent. I was young and I trusted everybody."    Then he added, "[Being] young and innocent in this industry... it's not the best thing because people will take advantage of [your] vulnerability." Bieber said in an interview. He was involved in fights. He got arrested multiple times. He walked out during concerts. It was the lowest point of his life... and he was about to give up. When he was on the verge of permanently losing himself... Bieber took the time to reflect, "God, if you’re real, I need you to help me, because I can’t do this on my own. I’m struggling so hard. Every decision I make is out of my own selfish ego..."    Bieber acknowledged God's presence during the lowest point of his life... After that, he used his talent and his story to be an inspiration to people. In 2015, his songs "Love Yourself" and "What Do You Mean" became a huge hit. It was a sign that Bieber was back on track.   He also started practicing acts of generosity. He helped out with Hurricane Harvey relief efforts in Houston, Texas, and donated $25,000.   As his career recovered, he also matured. It's a story of redemption...   Bieber talked about forgiveness during an interview. in GQ. He said, “If God forgives me and He loves me and He sets these things in motion. If He puts these desires in my heart, then I’m going to trust Him.”   Justin Bieber has been on the front page for all the wrong reasons. But he never lost faith in himself or his abilities to make it back to the top again. When you look at everything that happened... there were some moments where he was behaving like an immature kid. But after going through rehab and finding God, Bieber came out on top with renewed vigor and drive.    His career may have taken a hit during that time, but now he seems unstoppable—and even better than before!   Justin Bieber, Forus Travbane Stavanger 2017.
